Rite of Initiation for Special Needs (RISN) is a parish catechetical program designed for people who are mentally challenged and have not received some or all of the sacraments. The program presents the catechism of the Catholic Church that engages the special needs of the individual person. The goal is to help the students understand about God’s great gifts found in the sacraments and to help them become participating sacramental members of our faith community. One hour classes are held weekly beginning each fall, call the parish for further information.
