"The Last Things"
Jesus, Last Judgment - Sistine Chapel
There is a common theme between the end of one church year ("Christ the King" Sunday, 34th in Ordinary time) and the beginning of a new chruch year (1st Sunday of Advent). Listen to the readings as we approach Advent this year. You will here references to the end of the world. The end of the world is a curiosity for all of us, yet the Lord urges us not to worry. Worry suggests ill preparation. You need not worry if you are prepared. Some feel no need to worry because they are so sure it will not be in their life time. BE CAREFUL!! The end fo the world comes in two forms: your death and the 2nd coming of Christ. We must always be preparing ourselves to meet the Lord.
Join us as Ron Dailey prepares us for the "The Last Things" through understanding what the church teaches about the end of our life and the end of the world.
- Heaven
- Hell
- Purgatory
- Death
- Judgment ("Particular" and "Final" judgment)

"Angels"

Our Lady Queen of the Angels
Former pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas parish, Fr. Frank Bartel, returns to enlighten our understanding of angels.   Very often we are drawn to popular images of "cute" angels.   However, the truth about angels would suggest images far from cute.
"Angels are purely spirtual, incorporeal, invisible, immortal, and personal beings endowed with intelligence and will.   They ceaselessly contemplate God face-to-face and they glorify him.   They serve him and are his messengers in the accomplishments of his saving mission to all."
