Prayer to End Abortion: Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life, and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters. I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion, yet I rejoice that you have conquered death by the Resurrection of Your Son. I am ready to do my part in ending abortion. Today I commit myself never to be silent, never to be passive, never to be forgetful of the unborn. I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement, and never to stop defending life until all my brothers and sisters are protected, and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all, through Christ our Lord. SENIORS OF ST. THOMAS AQUINAS

Meetings: 2^nd Wednesday of the month at 9 a.m.
Workshops: Wednesdays at 9 a.m. from March to June and September to December.

This is a dynamic group who enjoys many varied activities such as bus trips, excursions, crafts, socializing and fellowship. Monthly meetings begin in October on the 2^nd Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. and workshops are held on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. from March to June and September to December. Tote bags, toiletries, and knitting and crocheting stocking caps are some of our projects. All seniors are welcome to join this group. There is a strong bond of love and support where each person is considered a treasure.

MINISTRY OF CARE

The Ministers of Care bring communion to the sick and homebound. These ministers foster prayer, hope and intimately share the Good News, encouraging a trust in God in the face of death. Your commitment of time can be as little as 3 hours each month, including a meeting with fellow Ministers of Care. The Ministry of Care is a powerful witness to God’s presence.

ART AND ENVIRONMENT

These ministers work as a team to create an atmosphere of beauty that supports prayerful worship. Their work helps to make clear the differences in the liturgical seasons and to focus the attention of the assembly on various aspects of the mystery of salvation. These team members often call upon additional volunteers to carry our major seasonal decoration projects.
