Camp Patterdell Pines, A Respite in the Woods of Prescott
Anyone from the valley who has taken a trip north of here knows what a difference a two-hour drive can make. In the summer, cool breezes brush against your skin and the warm sun is filtered by tall pines all around you. Wintertime brings that crisp, white snowy landscape offering an entirely different sort of adventure. This is what awaits you and more at Camp Patterdell Pines in Prescott.
During the day, you can walk through trails, hearing the crunch of pine needles under your shoes and the rush of wind against the tips of the pines. Or follow a stream as it winds through the woods and see deer along the way that seem close enough to touch. And when you’re ready to take a break from exploring the outside, first-class accommodations await you inside the cabin, equipped with everything you need for your stay.
The eight furnished bedrooms with combinations of twin beds to bunk beds sleep up to 25 people. There’s a sparkling new kitchen with industrial-size appliances that make meal preparation easy. The adjoining dining room gives everyone a chance to join together and swap stories of their day. After dinner, you can sit in the living room and enjoy its huge wood-burning fireplace, or relax in the front or side porches with their oversized windows that allow you to keep that view of the forest even when you’re inside. The cabin also has a beautifully appointed chapel, ready for celebrating Mass, or spending time in contemplative prayer.
Camp Patterdell Pines and all its beauty and serenity awaits you. Whether you’re planning your ministry’s next retreat or a family gathering, it’s the perfect location.
