ATTENTION NEW & RETURNING R.E. FAMILIESRegistrations for Religious Education 2016-17 for new and returning R.E. families are being accepted on Mondays through Thursdays from 4:30 – 7:00 PM in the R.E. Office.  Residence within the parish boundaries or a 3 month waiting period is required for new families.  Parents are asked to register as soon as possible for optimum grade placement of their child(ren).  Baptismal certificates are required for Grade 2 registration and placement.  Please contact Lina at the R.E. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM for 2016-2017 NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT! Classes will begin on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 13 Catechists& 14.  We will need many Catechists (Teachers) and Aides (Helpers) in order to provide quality religious instruction and faith formation activities for the children of Grades 1 – 5.  Can you help?  Classes will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 PM and on Wednesday afternoons from 5:00 – 6:00 PM.  RCIC Class for children interested in becoming Catholic will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 PM while Years I & 2 of Basics of the Faith Classes (Catholic Beliefs/First Reconciliation & Confirmation/First Eucharist) will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 PM.  Assigned Catechists will receive a 35% discount on their registration fees while Aides will receive a 25% reduction.  We will provide the training, materials, and personal support.  All you need is a generous heart and a willingness to share your faith.  Please consider volunteering for this important ministry.  Call Rose Marie Gilb, Director of Religious Education, at (623)935-2151 x229 or Lina Luna, R.E.
