Children’s Sacrament Preparation (Grades 1 – 5)

St. Thomas Aquinas Religious Education Program includes sacrament preparation for First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Eucharist for the children in our parish. The R.E. Receiving the sacraments enable children to be not only nourished in their faith but also to live and celebrate it.

Preparation for the sacrament of First Reconciliation (First Confession) occurs in Grade 2. Basics of the Faith Year 1 Program provides First Reconciliation preparation for those children above this grade level.

Confirmation

First Eucharist (Communion)

Preparation for the sacrament of First Eucharist (First Communion) also occurs in Grade 3. Basics of the Faith Year 2 Program prepares those children above this grade level for the celebration of First Eucharist.
