RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA) and

ADULT SACRAMENT PREPARATION WITH CONFIRMATION

RCIA

Pre-register in the parish office by September 16th. Classes begin Thursday, October 6th

RCIA prepares adults who have not been baptized to be fully initiated into the Catholic faith.  It consists of preparing the individual to receive the Sacraments of Initiation, which are Baptism (rebirth), Confirmation (re-commitment or to be sealed), and Holy Eucharist (to be nourished). It culminates in the reception of the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil Mass.

Adult Sacrament Preparation is also being offered.  This program is separate from the RCIA journey and is for those who have been baptized but have not celebrated one or all of the sacraments of Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, and Reconciliation in the Catholic Church.  It culminates with the reception of the Sacraments at the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas at the end of January.

If you or someone you know is interested in the journey towards becoming fully initiated into the Catholic Church or converting to Catholicism they can pre-register for classes in the church office. Pre-registration closes on September 16th. Weekly classes begin October 6th and are held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30pm.

Pre-registration is required to attend.
