Our Mission
The Catholic Community of Saint Thomas Aquinas Grade School is a
partnership of parents, teachers, staff, students, and all parishioners
that strive to nurture the growth of the whole child in a Catholic,
faith-based environment. We seek to promote academic excellence in a
safe and nurturing environment while fostering responsibility, positive
discipline, service to others, and life-long learning.
Philosophy
We believe the role of Saint Thomas Aquinas Grade School is to provide a
holistic Catholic environment that serves the mind, body, and soul of
each child. Within this environment, basic intellectual skills are
developed, religious traditions are celebrated, and students are
prepared to live in and make a vital contribution to a changing society.

- Class Information
Pre-K-8th grade
A Maximum of 24 students per class
All day Kindergarten
Full-time aide in Pre-K and K
School hours: 7:45 A.M. – 3:10 P.M.
- Curriculum
The Diocese of Phoenix coordinates a cycle of curriculum review,
revision, and implementation for all curricular areas. Each school
community has input into this process. St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School utilizes these adopted curricula to direct day-to-day
learning. It is these curricula that articulate academic standards for
each grade level. Our supportive environment in core curricula is
augmented by weekly instruction in Spanish, technology, art, and
physical education.

- Acceptance
Paper work, with all supporting documents, must be complete for
consideration.
Registered, active and contributing parishioners of our parish receive
first consideration.
- Volunteer Requirement
All parents of registered students are required to volunteer thirty (30) service hours to the school.
