“St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School had a jog-a-thon and donated a percentage of the proceeds to Arizona Helping Hands and the funds were used to send kids to Knights of Columbus camp at Mormon Lake. These kids are so poor they don’t get 3 meals a day. They are lucky to get 1 meal.”
- Kathy Donaldson, Arizona Helping Hands
Community outreach is an important component of our community. We believe that giving back to the community benefits both our students and the organizations that we support. Through various school efforts, we have contributed goods and funds to such many local organizations. The Service Club is another way our students embrace the ability to reach others.
We have supported many organizations in our community such as:
• HALO Animal Rescue
• Arizona Helping Hands
• Open Arms Home for Children
• St. Joseph's Hospital
• West Valley Child Crisis Center
• Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (Arizona Chapter)
Being actively involved in community outreach is one of the many ways we demonstrate a commitment to helping others in need.
