Dear Parents,

       . Please continue to supervise homework and give extra practice if you see that your child is struggling.  In reading we continue to practice sounds of letters and blending words.  Please continue to practice sight words and read at home.  All students are reading at this point and we need to build on fluency.  In Math we are adding and subtracting.  By the end of the year we should know how to recognize and write numbers 1-100.  We write in our personal and plant journals almost every day.

        We will also be performing in the Mother's Day Classical Music Concert on May 8th and we will be hosting the Mass on 5/8th also . Information regarding the Mass has gone out.   If you have a problem finding a scarf, please use a wide black piece of ribbon or a man's long tie, tied like a bow (father's know what I am talking about). I have showed the students what it looks like in class.

Bravo Corner: Thank you Parents for reading at home with your children.  Our Book-It Program ended in March.  Total books read were:  1, 915.  Top readers for the year:  Andy with 250 books, Jay with 220, Louis with 215, Connor with 130, Gianna with 125 and Michael with 125.
