Dear Parent,
On May 14th, your child will be going swimming at the Y.M.C.A. from 11:20 - 12:50 p.m. and on May 19th they will go from 12:50 - 2:30 p.m. These days will be replacing their P.E. days/time and Mrs. Vanderwey, Mr. Paul, and Mrs. Ashton will be taking them. If any additional parents would like to volunteer to go, please notify Mrs. Vanderwey. Please send your child's swimming material (swim suit, towel...), water bottle, and sun tan lotion. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to these days, please see Mrs. Vanderwey. Thanks!
Your child should begin memorizing the 5's and 11's ONLY for Multiplication Facts. Please continue to review the 1's and 2's with your child. I will be having them memorize the easier ones that have tricks to them to help memorize. Children should memorize them like they memorize their weekly spelling words.
God Bless,
Mrs. Florez
