Tuesday/martes, el 6 de mayo

Oral testing of Sign of Cross and "Angel de mi Guarda."

• First grade class meets Tuesdays only. 
• Most work is oral practice and repetition.
• Homework folder is yellow.  Occasional homework is given.
• Completed written work/ tests will be taken home, but please sign and return.  They will be placed in student's portfolio.
• Grading for grades 1-3 is "Excellent," "Satisfactory," "Unsatisfactory."

Practice for oral prayer testing: Sign of Cross and "Angel de mi Guarda" -pronunciation

Practice animal vocabulary:  sorrillo (skunk), perico (parrot), ballena (whale), delfin (dolphin), mariquita (ladybug). 

Use phrase: This is a/an -animal name-)  "Este (or Esta) es un (or Una)---" with familiar animal vocabulary.

Second grade class meets Thursdays only.

See first grade information, above. Same for 2nd grade.

Study animal review for matching test on Thursday.  Also oral testing on reciting "Hail Mary" will begin.

Third grade class meets Thursdays only. Same as 1st and 2nd grade information above.

Tuesday/martes, el 6 de mayo

Study the Mysteries of the Rosary and on which each is prayed for test on Thursday.  Know their spelling also.

Oral test on all of "Padre nuestro"  and spelling test on key words from same prayer.  "Nuestro, cielo, tierra, santificado, nombre, reino, hoy, voluntad, día, perdona, ofensas, también, nosotros, perdonamos, dejes, caer, tentación, líbranos.

Wednesday/miércoles, el 7de mayo

Continue with Oral presentations on clothing in class. Practice! Practice! Practice! Be prepared when your name is called.

Thursday/jueves, el 8 de mayo

Practice Oral Presentations script with clothing vocabulary and shopping terms.

Be prepared when your name is called.

Vocabulary test on clothing next Thursday. (meaning and spelling)

Prepare commercials with at least 3 verb commands, include regular and irregular verbs, include necessary vocabulary.. Make a list of verb infinitives and related vocabulary (with translations) for class.    

Apostles' Creed appears in "prayers" section. Must be able to read it well before end of 4th quarter!
