Principal’s Message

The Catholic Community of Saint Thomas Aquinas Grade School is a partnership of parents, teachers, staff, students, and all parishioners that strive to nurture the growth of the whole child in a catholic, faith-based environment,  We seek to promote academic excellence in a safe and nurturing environment while fostering responsibility, positive discipline, service to others, and life-long learning.

 

For the 2008/2009 school year, Tuition for one child is $4,150.00, with the 2nd child’s tuition being $3,950.00, 3rd child’s tuition is $3,750.00, and the 4th child’s tuition is $3,550.00 in the same family and providing that you are a registered active member of the parish.  Actual cost however, to educate each child will be $5,067.00 with the additional money coming from the Parish, the Parish Ball, the Annual School Appeal, and the Scrip program.   Thus every family is asked to be an active member of the parish in both stewardship and donations to the church.

 

Called to Protect program:

Please remember that all volunteers and parish employees must take this training every calendar year.  This is a mandatory class which you must take in order to be a volunteer and participate in school programs and field trips.

 

The school will be sending home a supply list for each grade level by the end of May, so that you can take advantage of summer sales to buy your children’s supplies

 

Encourage your children to read during the summer, practice their math facts, and write stories for you.  This will help them retain this years learning
