Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Community,
St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School is an exceptional school in an outstanding family community supported by a vibrant parish. We are blessed to have as our patron St. Thomas Aquinas as he is a wealth of insight into our daily lives as Catholic Christians as well as the church leader in the search for knowledge and wisdom.
The faculty and staff of St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School are dedicated facilitators of student learning. As a community, we have built a positive learning environment that enhances student success and prepares our students for success beyond our walls. Our learning takes into consideration the diverse needs and styles of our students and our teachers use a variety of methods and experiences in the classrooms to actively engage students. It is our philosophy to “provide a holistic Catholic environment that serves the mind, body, and soul of each child.”
As criticism of the education systems throughout the United States increases, the need for high-quality Catholic education has never been greater. Fortunately, St. Thomas Aquinas offers just that: A rigorous curriculum and excellent teachers who prepare our graduates for success in the best high schools and programs. Here are numbers that explain why we do what we do. Based on 100 students who enter 9th Grade each year…
- …68 = The number who will graduate from high school on time
- …40 = The number who will enroll immediately in college. 13 of them will be ready to begin their normal course load. 27 will need to take some type of remedial course as they enter college.
- …27 = The number who will still be in college after two years
- …18 = The number who will graduate in 3-6 years (with either an Associates or Bachelors Degree)
As you can see, it is imperative that we prepare our students, your children, the best we can.
This is an exciting time at St. Thomas Aquinas. I hope that you will visit us if you have any questions or just to see what we do.
