Ministry Scheduler

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Ministry Lead: Robert & Margy Eroh
Eucharistic Ministers present the Body and Blood of Christ to those who approach for Holy communion. Their presence and prayerful preparation deepen the experience of the mystery of Christ present in this sacrament. Training sessions for Eucharistic Ministers is provided.

Ministers of the Word

Ministry Lead: Dianne Robinson & Tonya Mena
Ministers of the Word proclaim the Word of God to the assembled community at all liturgies. By prayerful preparation for this ministry, they strive to engage the assembly in a living experience of the Word of God, and of the presence of Christ in each celebration.

Sacristans

Ministry Lead: Del Elkinton
Sacristans are trained as Ministers of the Eucharist, and then extend their service to include setting up the vessels, hosts, and wine needed for each Mass as well as cleaning and putting vessels away. In addition, the sacristan oversees the sign-in process for all ministers and fills any last minute ministerial vacancies at each Mass. This service assures the dignity and completeness of each liturgical celebration.

Altar Servers

Ministry Lead: Deacon Jason Robinson & Elsa Robinson
Altar Servers assist the Presider during Sunday, Holy Days, and seasonal Liturgies. They help the Presider by lighting the candles, holding the Sacramentary, placing vessels on the altar, etc. Their prayerful presence adds reverence and dignity to each celebration of the Mass through their listening, praying and singing. This ministry is open to boys and girls who have received their First Eucharistic. Training is provided.

Ministers of Hospitality

Ministry Leads: John Roffey & Grace Cooper
Ushers and Greeters offer a warm, friendly greeting to those arriving for Mass. Greeters extend the Christian community’s hospitality to welcome all parishioners, visitors and new comers. Ushers assist in seating parishioners, gathering the weekly offering, facilitating the Communion Procession, and other needs of the members of the assembly as they arise. Training is provided.

Choir

Ministry Lead: Daniel Sauceda
The choir consists of persons whose musical abilities range from the simple carrying of a tune to those with accomplished music reading and singing skills. The choir is thus an image of the Church itself, in which there are many different gifts that come from and serve the Spirit of God. Choir members continually build their musical and vocal skills, learning from each other in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. There is no age limit on choir membership. Remember singing is praying twice.
