PARTNERSHIP HOURS

WHAT ARE PARTNERSHIP HOURS?

The catechism of the catholic church states that “As the primary educators, parents establish a loving, virtuous home environment and guide children to balance material needs with spiritual growth” (CCC 2223). Partnership hours are encouragement for parents to be integral in what we do at Aquinas to form your children in the faith and for Sacraments.

These are some acceptable ways to get your partnership hours throughout the year:

TIME / TALENT

  • Volunteer in a classroom as a catechist or aide (Complete)

  • Volunteer in Edge or Life Teen as a CORE Member (Complete)

  • Attend Summa Nights (1 hour each)

TREASURE

  • Donate to specific classroom projects (Hours determined by catechist)

  • Donate snacks / food for Faith Formation events (Hours determined by Elementary coordinator)

  • Donate to our volunteer snack/Drink station (Hours determined by Elementary coordinator)
