Teen Sacramental Preparation is for those in middle-school and high-school grades 6th - 12th. The Diocese of Phoenix is a restored order diocese, which means that both Confirmation and First Communion are ordinarily celebrated in 3rd grade. Teen Sacrament Prep is a nine-month program that will prepare any middle or high-school age teen for reception of any or all of the Sacraments of Initiation.

Each confirmandi will attend either Life Teen (for high-schoolers) or EDGE (for middle-schoolers). There is also one mandatory retreat experience, which comes in the Fall or Spring for Life Teen or Winter for EDGE.

BESIDES THE WEEKLY YOUTH GROUP, WE WILL HAVE SIX “SUPER SUNDAYS”. DURING THESE, THOSE SEEKING SACRAMENTS WILL COME TOGETHER FROM 2PM - 5PM FOR SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION, DISCUSSION, AND DINNER (with Life Teen to follow for High-Schoolers).

If you have a teen who already has their Sacraments (or isn’t quite ready to enter into preparation), Life teen and EDGE is available all throughout middle and high school!

NOTE: IF Registering for Teen Sacrament Prep, the registration and cost includes the Super Sundays AND appropriate youth group. You do not need to separately register for Life Teen or EDGE. The retreats are not included.
