BAPTISM FOR CHILDREN, TEENS & ADULTS

The order of Christian Initiation (OCI) is the preparation for the Catholic Rite of Baptism for anyone older than 3rd grade. As a restored order Diocese, parishes in Phoenix confer all sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, & Confirmation) at the same time once someone is past the age of reason (that can be standardized to a certain grade or age, which we have set at 3rd grade). Those completing OCI (whether OCIA for Adults, OCIT for teens, or OCIC for children) will receive all of their sacraments of initiation at the EASTER VIGIL that year.

Each grouping (OCIC, OCIT, or OCIA) is tailored to fit the learning ability and maturity of that age group. As such, they will be with their peers that are seeking completion of sacraments. follow the appropriate link below for more info and to register.
