Here are a few ways you can continue to contribute:

1. On-line Giving

St. Thomas Aquinas has partnered with Pushpay to provide an easy and effective way to make automated payments from your checking account or credit card – just as you may do now with your mortgage, household bills, and other monthly payments. This is a great way to simplify your giving – and it’s the most cost-effective, environmentally-friendly way for us to receive your gifts.

There you will find many options for giving. You can make recurring donations with the interval of your choosing, or you can schedule a one-time gift to be drafted on your date of preference.

Using the “Fund” pull-down menu, you will find many opportunities to give, and ways to support the many activities here at St. Thomas Aquinas.  You can find everything from supporting our Wildcat Elementary School to the extraordinary charitable work at our local St. Vincent de Paul chapter, and everything in between.

2. Envelopes

If you prefer, you can of course give the traditional way using envelopes with cash or check.  When you register with the parish, please annotate this preference so we can start ordering envelopes for you. 

In the meantime, stop by the parish reception desk and we’ll be happy to provide a stock of generic envelopes until your supply arrives.

3. Text-to-Give

Giving to St. Thomas Aquinas is easy with Pushpay’s Text-to-Give!

To give via text, follow these steps:

1. Text to the following message to 77977

2. STACC followed by the $ amount you wish to give.  For example:  If you wish to donate $10 to St. Thomas Aquinas, text STACC 10 to the number 77977.

4. When you tap on the link, if you do not already have a Pushpay account, you will register your credit/debit card (you will only need to do this once).  If you do have a Pushpay account, it will take you directly to the STA online giving page.  Choose whatever selections you would like for your gift:  recurring or one-time, which fund, etc.

5. All giving is done through the giving page for enhanced security and protection of your information.

6. Save the text number as a contact in your phone to make future giving faster and easier, or save the STA online giving page as a bookmark in your browser.

5. Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA

Distributions for an IRA are usually treated as taxable income. However, you can avoid this taxable income when you make a Qualified Charitable Distribution to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

6. Remember St. Thomas Aquinas in Your Will

A planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at the future date. You do not have to have extraordinary wealth to make a planned gift. Even a small amount can have an impact over time. Some individuals think you must choose between leaving a gift to your family or charity. You can do both! Many planned gifts actually save your loved ones money after you are gone. A simple designation can bring incredible support to your local Catholic community. 7. Catholic Education Arizona

Through directed state tax credits, our purpose is to provide tuition scholarships to under-served families and students who desire an education at one of the Catholic schools Arizona believes in.  Arizona’s private education tax credit empowers individuals and corporations to choose what their tax dollars support, and greatly impacts Catholic schools. Rather than writing a check to the state of Arizona, you can be one of many to direct your tax credits to the school(s) of your choice.
