Safe Environment Information

Please know, ALL volunteers are required to complete annually and to be in compliance with Safe Environment, before volunteering in a ministry.

For New Volunteers:

  1. Please create a new account, and make sure you input your legal name and either your Social Security Number or your Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

    Note: Some of the questions will reiterate, please answer the question again to help complete the process.

  2. Once you have created your account make sure you go to Dashboard.

    (This will show you the required and optional training curriculums that have been customized for your particular role within the diocese).

  3. Look for Online Foundation Training

  4. Click the start button

  5. Reminder you will need to complete the videos!

  6. Once you have completed the videos make sure you scroll down and follow the prompts to continue the process.

  7. Know that your background check will take at least 7 to 10 Business days to complete the process.

For RETURN Volunteers:

  1.   Please sign in to your account, if you forgot your User Id (Firstname.Lastname.dop) and your password. If you have problems you can reset your password by entering your e-mail address. If you are having problems logging in please contact the parish office

    Once you have successfully signed on, go to your Dashboard.
    (This will show you the required and optional training curriculums that have been customized for your particular role within the diocese).

  2. Look for Safe Environment Training 2023-2024 Online Renewal

  3. Click the start button

  4. Follow the instructions, and A video will begin, please watch to the end

  5. Once you have completed the video make sure you scroll down and follow the prompts to continue the process.

  6. After completing your Renewal you can Print your Certificate under the start/completed button see Print Certificate
    (You can send that to your Ministry Leader to show that you are in compliance)
